Ashley D. Reid, age 96

Ashley D. Reid, age 96, of Cliffside, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Ashley was born February 7, 1924 in Spartanburg County to the late Nathaniel B. Reid and Eudora Greene Reid. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-eight years, Virginia "Ginny Anne" Reid and brother, Calvin "Blackie" Reid.

Those left to honor his memory include one son, Allan Reid (Diane) of Cliffside; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and two nephews.

A private graveside service was conducted at Cliffside Cemetery.
