Barbara Ann Newton Dotson, 78

Barbara Ann Newton Dotson, 78, of Mill Spring, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2022.

A native of Ninety Six, SC, she was the daughter of the late Grady Christopher and Agnes Cantrell Newton and was preceded in death by brothers Alfred and Homer Newton. Barbara worked at Broyhill Furniture and a member of Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Roger Dotson; son, Wayman Dotson (Leslie); daughter, Cheryl Haynes (William); brothers, Stanley Newton and Christopher Newton; sisters Reba Hudgins, Jeanette Byrd; two grandchildren, one greatgrandchild.

Funeral services were held November 7 at Cane Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Lake Lure with Rev. Ansel Pace officiating.
