Barbara Ann Toomey, 83

Barbara Ann Toomey, 83, of Mill Spring, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012.  

She was born in Quincy, Massachusetts.  She was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Shortle and widow of Albert (Bud) Toomey who passed in 1998.  Mrs. Toomey was a homemaker and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Forest City.  Mrs. Toomey was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Burnedett Toomey of Jupiter, FL, two sons;  Michael Toomey (Sharon) of Mill Spring, and Paul Toomey (Sherry) of Wilmington, 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Kevin Toomey in 1994.

A memorial service will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Forest City.
