Barbara Bridges, age 80, of Forest City, passed away, Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Barbara was born June 20, 1942 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Robert Wilson and Lucille Davis Wilson.
She worked as a nurses aide for over 30 years and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Flay Taylor; second husband, James Bridges and a sister, Janie Hasseltine Brant.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tannalla Reynolds (Johnny) of Winder, GA, Violet Cox (Romeo Waters) of Forest City and Patricia Ann Taylor (Danny Hicks) of Bennettsville, SC; sons, Robert Taylor (Ginger) of Hendersonville, and Tommy Taylor (Teresa) of Mars Hill, brother, Robert Gene Laughter of Bessemer City, sister, Doris Jane Justice of Edneyville, fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family received friends February 4 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
Memorial donations requested in care of Violet Cox, 1057 Rock Corner Rd, Forest City, NC 28043 to help with medical expenses.
