Barbara Epley Dobbins, age 90

Barbara Epley Dobbins, age 90 of Forest City died April 25, 2022.

Barbara was born on January 21, 1932, in Polk County and was a daughter of the late Lum and Mae Lyles Epley. She was a member of Green River Baptist Church.

Barbara grew up in Green Creek and was a graduate of Green Creek High School. She worked in textiles for 42 years starting at Drayton Mills in and then with Spindale Mills where she retired. Following retirement, she continued working, f for K-Mart and Rose's.

She was preceded in death by husband, Roy Lee Dobbins in 1995, infant son, Terry Steward Dobbins, as well as her sisters.

Survivors include children, Jeffrey Dobbins, Sherry Dobbins and Crystal Dobbins as well as four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held April 29, at Green River Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary Curtis officiating.
