Barbara Hensley Bridges, age 82

Barbara Hensley Bridges, age 82, of Bostic, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Barbara was born Thursday, October 5, 1938 in Rutherford County to the late Bunion Dee Hensley and Queen Esther Mace Hensley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, James David Bridges; daughter, Sherry Lynn Hammett; brothers, Charles Jack Hensley and J.D. Hensley and a sister, Mossie Sue Baynard.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Cathy Bridges Tuman (Richard) and Kim Farrer (Ronnie Morrow) all of Bostic; two sisters, Bardee Champion of Forest City and Carolyn Lawson (Charles) of Ellenboro; seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
