Barbara Mode Craig, age 65

Barbara Mode Craig, age 65, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Barbara was born December 3, 1956 in Rutherford County to the late Amos Mode and Ovelia Johnson Mode. She was a graduate of Chase High School and a member of Gray's Chapel Church in Polk County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Neal Craig, Sr. and sister, Judy Peek.

Left to cherish fond memories are sisters, Jackie Huffman of Ellenboro and Brenda Hutchens of Rutherfordton; brother, John Mode (Christy) of Danieltown; stepson, Neal Craig II (Debbie) and stepdaughter, Leighann Windbiel (Dave) all of Rutherfordton and her stepmother, Virginia Mode of Danieltown.

The funeral service was held June 27, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Mauney officiating.
