Basketball Season Ends

An exciting season of basketball just came to a close at Pinnacle Elementary School. PES started a basketball league a few years ago to provide an opportunity for students to play intramural sports and to engage the community with the school. All students are eligible to play without having to try out for a team - they simply register and teams are created based on age level and number of students registered.

This year, PES had eleven teams that played every Monday evening through the season, which lasted from January to early March.

Sponsors for this year's league were Fountain Electric, Green Hill Store, American Legion Post 74 and American Legion Post 74 Bingo, Caldwell Construction, D&M Logging, McSwain Storage, and Edward Jones / Jason Harrill.
