Beatrice Shelton Clements, age 89

Beatrice Shelton Clements, age 89, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Beatrice was born in Rutherford County, and she was the daughter of the late Eli M. and Zora King Shelton. She was also the widow of the late I.O. Clements. In addition to her parents and her husband, Beatrice was preceded in death by three brothers, Everette, Wilkie, and Marion Shelton.

Surviving family is her son, Bobby Clements, daughter, Anita Street, and husband Ronnie Street, of Rutherfordton, one brother, Wendell Shelton of Morganton, two granddaughters, one grandson, six great-grandchildren.

The visitation was held November 28 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The graveside service was held November 29 at Rutherfordton City Cemetery with Rev. Buster King officiating.
