Benjamin "Benny" D. Watson, 90

Benjamin "Benny" D. Watson, 90, of Forest City, passed away on April 13, 2019.

He was born August 7, 1928 in Rutherford County to the late Miller and Bethany Watson.

Benny was an excellent auto mechanic all his life and was known for his ability to "fix anything!" He loved to use his gift to help others. Benny was also blessed with a good sense of humor, anytime he was around there was laughter. Benny was a faithful, loving husband to his late wife Ruth, of 59 years. He was also a wonderful father to his three daughters: Dianne Abrams and husband, Bill, Lavonne Holland and husband Eddie, Jenitta Buckner and husband Randy. He is also survived by one sister Mabel Wall; four grandchildren; seven great-grandsons.

Benny was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where his service was held. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
