Bernice "Bonnie" Brown, age 79

Bernice "Bonnie" Brown, age 79, of Spindale, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020.

Bernice was born January 24, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late James Harrison Jenkins and Helen Mae Smith Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Eva Gardner Jenkins; an infant son, Raymond Edward Mears; four sisters, Nina Mae Morrow, Lou Ella Dobbins, Doris Kent, Ann Hunt and two brothers, Bill and Herman Jenkins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sheri Vassey (Bobby) and Dale Brown (Cecelia) both of Spindale; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life, to honor Bonnie's life, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the family residence (852 Spindale Street, Spindale).
