Betty Jean Conner Roper age 76 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away December 19, 2022.
Betty was the daughter of the late Julius and Alma Head Conner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby, and her sister Grace Smith.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Michael Roper, Alan Roper and fiancé Wanda Higgins, Bobby Roper and wife Wendy, Brian Roper wife Joanna Roper; daughter-in-law Jackie Roper and fiancée Micky Garner; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters Hilda Roper and Hazel Shell.
Betty was a retired school bus driver and devoted 35 years of her life to transporting students across Rutherford County.
Graveside services were held December 22 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Blanchette officiating.
