Betty Sue Davis Earley, 86

Betty Sue Davis Earley, 86, formerly of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Max and Lucy Melton Davis. She was a retired textile office manager, a member of Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church, and was active in the Senior Center.

Left to cherish her memories are her stepson, Tim Early and wife Diane of Charlotte; stepdaughter Leigh Ann Early Self and husband Cecil of Lawndale; five grandchildren; four nephews; one niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, F. Eugene Early, brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Mary Davis, and a nephew.

Funeral services were held at Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
