Bicycle helmets provided for all Rutherford County fourth grade students

Volunteer Drew Radford fits Darin Tipton's new helmet provided by SAFE Kids Rutherford County on Tuesday at Harris Elementary.

SAFE Kids Rutherford County, led by Dr. Chris Burly, has, once again, graciously provided bicycle helmets for all fourth grade students across the county.

In addition to providing the helmets, Chris and his team of volunteers take the time to properly fit each individual child's helmet to his or her head and to talk with them about the importance of protecting our noggins.
