Billy "Bill" Jackson Nance, 79

Billy "Bill" Jackson Nance, 79, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022.

He was born in Stanly County to the late Crawford and Nezzie Long Nance. He is also predeceased by one daughter, Paula Lea Nance and eight siblings.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter Debra Nance Cox and husband, Thomas H. Cox, Jr. of Belmont, one granddaughter, step-children, Tony Murphy, James Murphy and Kristie Murphy Watts; four step-grandchildren,one step-great-grandchild, brother Bruce Clement Nance.

Bill served in the National Guard and worked in Accounting.

Services are to be planned for a future date and will be announced at that time.
