Billy Dean Mashburn, age 83

Billy Dean Mashburn, age 83 of Forest City, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020.

Billy was born on September 1, 1937 in Rutherford County and was a son of the late John and Jenny Crow Mashburn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Mashburn Kinney, his sisters, Eugenia Barnes and Nora Greene and brother, Paul Mashburn.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty-six years, Mabel Yelton Mashburn, his daughter, Ginny Mashburn Simpson (Josh), his son, Travis Mashburn and partner Shalyn Laughter, a brother, Ray Mashburn, and his four grandchildren.

The family held a private memorial service in the Padgett and King Chapel.
