Billy Joseph Whisnant, 47, native of Cleveland County, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Wayne Whisnant and Judy Ann Hamrick Whisnant; brother-in-law, Steve Clay.
Joey is survived by sons, Elliott Joseph Whisnant and Parker Wayne Whisnant; son's mothers, Haley Ruppe Elliott and Natashia Rosers "Parker"; sister, Christy Clay, one niece, one nephew.
He worked as a Heat and Air Maintenance Technician for most of his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Rescue Mission, 206 Mt Sinai Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152.
Celebration of Life Services were held May 16 at Robert Morgan Rutherford Chapel, Spindale.
