Blennie Heaslip (Bee), age 101, of Spindale, passed away, June 15, 2020.
She was born to the late Dana and Blennie Woodcock and was raised by her aunt and uncle, Gertrude and Ted Roberts.
Blennie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and siblings Azel Woodcock, Roland Woodcock, Sarah Foster and Reva Harper.
Blennie is survived by her daughter, Gail Wisnoski (Richard) of Arizona; sons Richard Heaslip (Margie) of Pennsylvania, and William Heaslip of NC. In addition to her children, she leaves six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A Memorial service was held at Crowe's Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rutherford County Senior Center, 193 Callahan Koon Road, Spindale, NC 28160 or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
