Bobbie Callahan Johnson, age 84 of Forest City

Bobbie Callahan Johnson, age 84 of Forest City died Monday, December 29, 2025.

Bobbie was born March 13, 1941, in Travelers Rest, SC and was a daughter of the late J. C. Callahan and Hilda Guffey Callahan.

Bobbie worked for Doncaster-Tanner Companies where she retired after 30 years service and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Callahan, and her sisters, Martha Ruff and Jane Bezold.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Wallace D. Johnson, her daughters, Annette Buchanan and husband Don of Rutherfordton, Darlene Terry and husband Larry of Ellenboro, her brother, June Callahan of Rutherfordton, as well as her grandchildren, Kenny Terry and Christial Luckadoo and great-grandchildren, Zack Luckadoo, Kelcie Terry and Kenley Terry.

The funeral was held January 2 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Rev. Gary Greene officiating.
