Bobbie Delle Robbins Yelton Scruggs, age 90

Bobbie Delle Robbins Yelton Scruggs, age 90, of Forest City passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019.

Bobbie was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Adaville Baptist Church where she served on numerous committees and taught Sunday School for many years, a graduate of Rutherford Hospital School of Nursing, and retired head surgical nurse at Rutherford Hospital. She also volunteered at Yokefellow.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her first husband, Everette Yelton, son Ronald Yelton, parents L.M. and Irene Miller Robbins, and brothers, Terry, Charles, Bill and L.M. Robbins Jr., step son Dennis Scruggs, a grandson, step son in law Tim Pollock.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Earl Scruggs; step daughters Deborah (Steve) Reynolds, Pattie (Rocky) Toney and Vickie Pollock; step daughter in law Debbie Scruggs; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters in law, Pearl and Sandra Robbins, and special care giver Brenda Salmon.

Funeral services were held at Adaville Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
