Boyce H. Kennedy, age 86

Boyce H. Kennedy, age 86, of Rutherfordton, died September 3, 2021.

He was the son of the late Thomas and Lola Kennedy. Boyce was a native of Rutherford county. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Luann Bradley Kennedy; brother Carl Kennedy; sister Foy Holt.

Boyce was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Survivors include companion and caregiver Janice Jolley, step-sons Bill Hughes (Julie), Johnny Marlowe (Danielle), 6 step-daughters Sharon Pugh (Mike), Christy Daniel (Jared), Malinda Mathis (Birch), Anita Buchanan (Denver), Teresa Steppe (Bruce), Alisa Cantrell (Wayne), sister: Peggy Mask (Bill), sister-in-law Mary Kennedy, brothers Kenneth Kennedy (Edith), Don Kennedy (Peggy Jane) & many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and other family members.

The graveside service was held September 5, 2021 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Debbie Toney officiating.
