Boyd Arrowood, age 78

Boyd Arrowood, age 78, of Union Mills, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.

Boyd was born December 10, 1941 in Rutherford County to the late Clarence Arrowood and Vearl Parton Arrowood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Mull, Lula Freeman and a brother, Floyd Arrowood.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Joanne Arrowood; two daughters, Roxanne Barnhill of Belmont, NC and Kim Thomas (Dave) of Harrisonburg, Virginia; two sons, John Stevens of Union Mills and Kevin Tuttle (Kathy) of Forest City; brother, Kermit Arrowood of Union Mills; sister, Lois Jones (Raymond) of Shingle Hollow; brother-in-law, Don Freeman of Union Mills; sister-in-law, Kathleen Arrowood of Forest City; four grandchildren, Brett Grindstaff, Nathan Stevens, Skyler Bradley (Angela), Sarah Sanchez (Joe) and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Little White Country Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
