Brenda Metcalf, age 77

Brenda Metcalf, age 77 of Spindale passed away January 3, 2018.

Brenda was tough as nails and had a heart of gold. She was always active in her family and in her faith. I feel certain that she never met a stranger. Brenda was the glue that every family needs to keep it all together. So many moving parts in such a large family and she handled it with ease. It was like she was a born problem solver. Brenda is survived by her husband Jack Metcalf and by their daughters Karen Metcalf and Sherri Splawn.

Brenda was preceded in death by their son Alan Metcalf who passed away in 2009. Brenda was survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren that she loved deeply. Brenda's passing was sudden, but her impact with God will be everlasting. We will truly miss this Godly woman.

Service was held at Crestview Baptist Church, Forest City, Burial was private.
