Brian Keith Baber, age 53

Brian Keith Baber, age 53, of Forest City, passed away January 26, 2022.

Brian was born July 11, 1968 in Rutherford County. He worked as a carpenter for many years and as a truck driver for Vassey's Wrecker Service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Baber.

Left to cherish fond memories are his mother and father, Linda Vassey and Danny Vassey of Bostic; father, David Baber of Bostic; daughter, Sierra Baber (Scott White) of Forest City; son, Brandon Baber (Sierra) of Cliffside; stepdaughter, Samantha Bailey of Rutherfordton; sister, Sherry Crain (Mike) of Rutherfordton; half-brother, Kevin Baber of Bostic; stepbrothers, Aaron Vassey (Elizabeth) of Spindale and Michael Vassey of Ellenboro; stepsister, Sonya Vassey of Forest City, three grandchildren.

A graveside service was held February 1, 2022 at the Southern Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dylan Lewis officiating.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
