Bruce Jackson Parton, Sr. age 76

Bruce Jackson Parton, Sr. age 76 passed away Thursday September 12, 2019.

A native of Madison County, NC. He is a son of the late Oscar Livingston Parton and Hallie Jean Beeler Parton. Bruce enjoyed the outdoors and attending Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church. He retired from C-A Textiles after 25 years of employment.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years Linda Anderson Parton, five children Rose Moore (Gerald), Bruce Parton, Jr., Tina White (Joseph), Mary Kyne (Ozzie), Jean Atkins (Andy); 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, 4 brothers and a number of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.

Memorial services were held at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church, Rutherfordton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church building fund.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
