Bruce Steppe, age 65

Bruce Steppe, age 65, of the Ruth Community, passed away January 28, 2022.

Bruce was born March 5, 1956 in Rutherford County to the late Bill Steppe and Maxine Canencia Steppe. He was a graduate of Polk Central High School, and a truck driver for USF Holland in Greenville, SC for 22 years. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Rutherfordton.

Left to cherish fond memories are his wife of 42 years, Teresa Steppe; daughter, Kristina Steppe Smith (Thomas) of Forest City; son, Billy Steppe (Hannah) of Rutherfordton and sister, Malia Steppe Crook (Tom) of Hendersonville and four grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted February 5, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating.
