Calvin "CJ" Justice McClellan, age 87

Calvin "CJ" Justice McClellan, age 87, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019.

He was the son of the late Arnold McClellan and the late Martha Thomas McClellan and he was a native of Rutherford County. CJ was the widower of the late Joann McClellan. He was also preceded in death by his son: Johnny Laughter, brothers: Henry McClellan, and Carrol McClellan, sister: Adalene Wall and one daughter: Angela Laughter. CJ was a member of Oak Springs Baptist Church. He loved his chickens and his bees and he also loved his family very much.

He is survived by Three Daughters: Tammy Spivey, Shannon Kuykendall and her husband Michael, Kylie Bradley and her husband Tony. One Son: Joshua McClellan. Three Brothers: James, Eugene, and Dewey McClellan. Also, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at Oak Springs Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
