Calvin William Dixon, age 67

Calvin William Dixon, age 67, of Mooresboro, passed away September 7, 2021.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son to the late Alton Junior Dixon and Margorie Spears Dixon.

In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his wife Elsie Hamrick Dixon and three brothers; Jack, Robert and George Dixon.

He is survived by his "significant other" Christine Lancaster Harrington, step children; Janet Jau, Sandi Blanton and Kathy Taylor, brothers; Gene Dixon, Steve Dixon, Pat Dixon (Geneva) and Wayne Dixon (Kathy), sisters; Dianne Willis and Brenda Lister (Leroy), 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held September 10, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Mooresboro, NC with Rev. Kevin Hamrick officiating.
