Cancer Survivor Celebration October 20 at POPS in Forest City

A night of celebration for Rutherford County cancer survivors will be Friday, October 20 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pavilion on Park Square (POPS) in Forest City.

All Rutherford County survivors are encouraged to bring up to two guests to the event.

There will be dinner, music, special entertainment, prizes and Bingo.

Reservations are necessary by October 11 by calling 828-245-4596.

Those interested are asked to leave a message with name, phone number, number attending (up to 3) and choice of grilled chicken or BBQ pork for dinner.

Accommodations are available for those needing ADA assistance.

The event is sponsored by the Community Health Council of Rutherford County.
