Carl Lee Biggerstaff, age 75

Carl Lee Biggerstaff, age 75 of Rutherfordton, died Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Carl was born on October 18, 1946, in Rutherford County and was the son of Madeline Short Biggerstaff of Rutherfordton and the late Grover Biggerstaff.

Carl was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church, and he worked as a computer instructor for Isothermal Community College until retirement.

He attended Harris School, was a graduate of Chase High School and then attended Isothermal Community College for two years and then to Gardner-Webb College.

Carl was also a CPA and owned and operated Biggerstaff's Bookkeeping Service.

Survivors include his mother, Madeline Short Biggerstaff of Rutherfordton, uncle, Robert Short of San Antonio, TX, aunt, Mary Mize of Winston-Salem, as well as many cousins.

A graveside service was held August 19 at Sandy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Anderson officiating.
