Carolyn Clayton, age 77, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020.
Carolyn was born January 7, 1943 in Rutherford County to the late Lewis Clayton and Sarah Walker Clayton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, James Holland (Christy) of Rockwell, NC and a daughter, Kathy Maness (Vick) of Forest City; two brothers, James Clayton of Forest City and Ditney Clayton (Dianne) of Sandy Mush and a special friend of Mooresboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be conducted at the Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery.
