Carolyn L. Lowery, age 88

Carolyn L. Lowery, age 88, of Union Mills, NC passed away Monday, January 9, 2023.

Carolyn was born March 17, 1934 in Morgan County, NC to the late Vono C. Baker and Emma Louise Clontz Baker.

For many years she and her late husband, Bobby Dean, owned and operated a shrimp boat named, "Hardtimes" in Port Aranzes, TX. They also owned the Planes and Things Hobby Shop in Corpus Christi, TX. Carolyn was a member of Fairview Missionary Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bobby Dean Lowery.

Left to cherish fond memories are daughters Renae Benham (Larry) of Holiday, TX and Cheryl Endick of Union Mills; sister, Jackie Henderson (Carl) of Marshall, and three grandchildren.

The funeral service was held January 14 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dean Cox officiating.
