Carolyn Lawson, age 78

Carolyn Lawson, age 78, of Ellenboro, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023.

Carolyn was born January 2, 1945 in Rutherford County to the late Bunion D. Hensley and Queen Ester Mace Hensley. She worked in textiles and PPG for many years. Carolyn was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy D. England; sisters, Barbara Bridges and Bardee Champion and brothers, J.D. and Jack Hensley.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her husband of 48 years, Charles Lawson; son, Terry England (LeAnne) of Boiling Springs, and a daughter, Janice England of Ellenboro; one grandson, and three great-granddaughters.

The funeral was held February 3 at Pleasant View Community Church with Rev. Phillip Duncan and Rev. Chad Sisk officiating.
