Carrie A. Pearson, age 90

Carrie A. Pearson, age 90, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Carrie was born July 31, 1932 in Rutherford County to the late W.P. Alexander and Lillie Whitesides Alexander Shuford. She was a graduate of Tri-High School and worked as an insurance agent. Carrie was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, R. Baxter Pearson, Jr; son Hansel "Hank" Stuart Pearson; siblings Sarah Hamrick, Betty Jones, Max Alexander, Arnold Alexander, Ethel Propst, Jack Alexander, Charles Alexander, Taylor Alexander and Ray Alexander.

Left to cherish fond memories are daughters Cathe Banks (John) of Spartanburg, Michele Andreas (Karl) of Spartanburg and Camille Luckadoo (Mike) of Rutherfordton and son Marc Pearson (Lillian) of Shelby, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be conducted.
