Carrie Brackett Lovelace, age 83 formerly of Ellenboro, died April 30, 2022.
She was born in Lawndale, NC September 25, 1938, and was a daughter of the late Romie and Cordie Self Brackett.
Carrie was preceded in death by husband, Jack Lovelace, sister, Lucy Bumgardner and brother, Ted Brackett.
Survivors include children Reggie Horton of Dallas, and Jennifer Lovelace of Ellenboro, brother Ray Brackett of Shelby and sisters, Jessie Sweezy and Dessie Brackett both of Shelby, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Health Care, Patient Activity Fund, 518 Old US 221, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
A graveside memorial service is being planned and will be announced by Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory.
