Cecil Reid, age 92, of Forest City, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at his residence.
Cecil was born December 24, 1927 in Sarles, North Dakota to the late Charles Reid and Nellie Walker Reid.
Cecil served his country in the U.S. Army following the end of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-six years, Rosalie "Lee" Wisler Reid; a daughter, Debra Eileen Reid; a great-grandson; a son-in-law, Woody Shahan; two sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Sandra Shahan of Spindale, and Jody Heffernan (Dale) of Wichita, KS; brother, Raymon Reid of Chinook, Montana. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment with military honors followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
