Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at Rutherford Weekly

A fun time and great food was had by all for those attended the Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours at Rutherford Weekly on Thursday June the 10th.

   Rutherford Weekly provided hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, beans, coleslaw, and all the fixin’s for a down home summer bar-b-que! The guests enjoyed Rutherford Weekly’s air-conditioned office space and the wonderful spread of food, (including blueberry cobbler and banana pudding!), while publisher Mike Marlow braved the heat and humidity to work the grill.

   Rick Austin, Executive Director of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce said “Thanks so much to Rutherford Weekly for all they do to support the community here in Rutherford County. They are always supportive of the Chamber and the business community in general, and we appreciate their hosting this event.”

   Mike Marlow said “We believe in the Chamber of Commerce, and we want to do everything we can to help the businesses in Rutherford County.  I really appreciated what the Chamber’s Business After Hours did for our business when I moved to Rutherford County, and I wanted to give back, to let other people in the business community have the opportunity to meet each other and share information.”
