Charlene "Carolyn" Walker Hardin, age 80

Charlene "Carolyn" Walker Hardin, age 80, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021.

Carolyn was born Sunday, December 29, 1940 in Rutherford County to the late Ed Walker and Mamie Selvey Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Stephen Hardin; son, David Dimsdale; two brothers, Norris and Billy Walker and two sisters, Shirley and Judy Walker.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Donnie Dimsdale (Nancy) of Reidsville, NC; two daughters, Marilyn Dimsdale and Belinda Hudlow (Hayden) all of Forest City; sisters, Betty Jo Freeman and Trudy Lancaster both of Forest City and a brother, Roger Walker of Forest City. She is also survived by five grandchildren.

A private graveside service was conducted at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
