Charles Richard White, 68, and Brenda Graham White, 65, of Forest City, passed away within a month of each other.

Charlie proudly served in the U.S. Army and later dedicated himself to a career as a Correctional Officer.

Brenda served her community by teaching and mentoring young children.

Charlie and Brenda are survived by their daughter, Jessica Cargile (Preston), one grandson, sisters Monea Hines (Steve) and Marcia Graham, Laura Lancaster, and Janette Jones.

They will be remembered at a memorial service on July 8 at 3pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist in Forest City.
