Charles Erwin Bright, Jr., age 88

Charles Erwin Bright, Jr., age 88, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

Charles was born September 25, 1931 in Rutherford County to the late Charles Erwin Bright, Sr. and Donia Guffey Bright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Jones and second wife, Katherine Giles; daughter, Rhonda Oberstaller; a granddaughter; three brothers, Leroy, Walter and Venoy Bright and three sisters, Mavis Bridges, Ruth Haulk and Joan Hodge.

Those left to cherish his memory include four sons, Barry Bright (Pam) of Forest City, Danny Bright of Forest City, Scott Bright (Tammy) of Huntersville, NC and Henry Bright of Hanahan, SC; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for the family was conducted at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial donations are requested to the charity of choice.
