Charles Glen Toms, Jr, age 81

Charles Glen Toms, Jr, age 81 of Forest City, passed away April 15, 2020.

Charles was born January 30, 1939 in Goldsboro, NC and was a son of the late Charles Glen Toms, Sr, and Mary Emma King Toms.

After College, he entered the United States Air Force and served his country honorably.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Toms. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane Shytle Toms of the home, his sons, Keith Toms of Forest City, Kris Toms and wife Jolee of Belmont, brother, Warren Toms and wife Sandra of Forest City, daughter-in-law, Vickie Burton of Forest City as well as his 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service was held in the chapel. Interment held in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
