Charles Ray Swink, age 75

Charles Ray Swink, age 75, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023.

Charles was born February 11, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Grady Swink and Mary Ellen Smith Swink. He was a car dealer and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Madge Swink, Pauline Dalton, Ophelia Whietstine and brothers Robert and Arlo Swink.

Those left to cherish fond memories are his children Rhonda Robbins (Chris), Freddie Swink, Tammy Carpenter (Tom), Tonda Holland (Robin); six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, siblings, Ruth Grier, Paul Swink (Cathy), Jeanette Epley (William) and Louise Buff.

The funeral service was held January 10 at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Rev. Buddy Campbell officiating.
