Charles Raymond "Charlie" Lewis, 73, of Ellenboro

Charles Raymond "Charlie" Lewis, 73, of Ellenboro, died Friday, July 31, 2026.

He is the son of Pauline Lewis of Cumberland, MD and the late Chuck Lewis. Charlie served many years as a magistrate in Rutherford County. He was a US Marines veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Toney Lewis; his daughters, Taylor Lewis of Ellenboro, and Erin Lewis Suddreth and husband Jacob, of Lenoir; his special friend, Lydia Arrowood; his sister, Kathy Brubaker and husband Frank, of Cumberland, MD; his brother, Bruce Lewis and wife Ellen of Milford, DE.

A Memorial Service was held August 4 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Conner and Rev. Ad Hopper officiating. The Rutherford County Honor Guard rendered military rites.
