Charles Theodore Black, 79

Charles Theodore Black, 79, of Spindale, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, February 10, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Bulo and Alpha Panther Black. Charles was self-employed in the auto parts industry, was a member of 2nd Baptist Church. He also volunteered for the Spindale Fire Department for over 40 years and was a member of Western Star Lodge 91 for over 50 years.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Brenda Davis Black; daughter Tonya Coffey and husband Tracy; son, Tim Black and wife Susan; four grandchildren, sister, Kathleen Lewis.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by sisters, Janette Runyn and Orene Wallace.

Memorial services were held February 12 at 2nd Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating.
