Seven masonry students from the Chase High School Masonry program have excelled in regional competition. Students delivered an outstanding performance at the NCMCA Land of Sky Chapter Regional High School Masonry Contest, earning multiple top placements among strong regional competition.

Out of 22 students representing five high schools, Chase High's Masonry program stood out by sweeping the top three spots in Masonry II, taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. In Masonry I, Chase students also performed well, earning 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place finishes.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that Chase High students have placed in the top three, highlighting the continued strength and reputation of the school's masonry program.

The success of the Chase students reflected the many hours they devoted to preparation, often practicing after school and on weekends to refine their skills and craftsmanship.

"We are extremely proud of these young men and women," said masonry instructor Jamie Brown. "Their dedication, discipline, and hard work truly paid off. We are so appreciative of the local businesses, Beam Construction and community members whose continued support helps make opportunities like this possible for students," he said.

Chase High's masonry program provides students with hands-on experience and industry-level training, preparing them for successful careers in the construction trades.
