Azlynn Moss competed at the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) National Tournament held in Des Moines, Iowa, from June 16-21. The competition featured over 7,000 entries, with students competing in 23 events that represented all fifty states in attendance. The preliminary rounds of competition took place over the first two days. Although Azlynn was eliminated and didn't make it to break rounds, she emerged from the competition, being nationally ranked in her event.

When asked what she liked best about the competition, Azlynn said: "My favorite part was the fellowship with the other students from all over the country. Everybody was just so friendly."

Azlynn is the youngest back-to-back national competitor to have come from the Chase program.

"She's already competed nationally twice going into her junior year. If she qualifies next year, she'll be my first triple. As her coach and her father, I couldn't be more proud of her," added Coach J. Patrick Moss.
