Saturday September 17 

Centennial Downtown Festival

Downtown Chesnee Communication Park at Santa’s House, under tents

• 10:00 AM – Celebration begins with Centennial Parade and Children’s Parade.

• Carnival Rides for all and bouncers for children.

• Meet & Greet with newly crowned 2011 Miss Chesnee

• Multiple food vendors and craft vendors.

• Stage with Live Music throughout day and into Saturday evening

12:00 noon- Tom Fisch, Folk Music

1:15PM- Jamie Puckett, Gospel

2:30PM- Homespun Bluegrass, Gospel

3:45PM- Butch Hobbs, Variety

5:00PM- Lawson Fork Creek, Bluegrass

6:15PM- Bittersweet, Country

7:30PM- Special K Band- R&B

8:45PM- Zebra- Rock

• Heritage activities

• displays of historical items, photographs and interviews

• Cowpens Battleground National Park booth at Centennial, with free tours 

      & cannon festival at nearby Battlegrounds throughout the day

• Chesnee Historical Society will have booth to copy and capture historical

information from area residents for future Chesnee Museum display. People are asked to bring items to be photographed and duplicated or contact Jack Underwood at Chesnee Library 864-461-2423 to schedule appointment for larger items.

• Interviews for video are being held, courtesy of Chesnee Communications .

• Area Heritage displays including Communications, Railroad and Agriculture

• Peach Blossom Classic Car Show and Display

• Boy Scout Heritage Display

• 2-4PM Carolina Foothills Artisan Center Centennial Reception, all welcome

• 9:30PM Centennial Fireworks Grand Finale
