Chivous "Paul" Luckadoo, age 90

Chivous "Paul" Luckadoo, age 90, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Paul was born May 7, 1932, in Rutherford County to the late C.A. Luckadoo and Owana Jolley Luckadoo. He was a graduate of Mooresboro High School. He worked for Fiber Industries/Celanese for 26 years before retirement. Paul was a member of Race Path Baptist Church where he served in many capacities including teaching Sunday School for 38 years and serving as Chairman of the Board of Deacons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Condrey Luckadoo and sons Alan Luckadoo and Gary Luckadoo.

Left to cherish his memory are son Danny Luckadoo (Becky) of Shelby, sisters Mary Jolley of Greenville and Martha Crise of Salisbury, brother Tommy Luckadoo (Linda) of Morganton, and sister-in-law, Diane Cloninger and brother-in-law Roger Condrey (Carol) of Shelby, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held November 1 at Race Path Baptist Church with Rev.Randall Cooper officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations requested to Race Path Baptist Church, 1171 Race Path Church Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
