Christine Sicilia Barr Vancil, age 56

Christine Sicilia Barr Vancil, age 56, of Dallas passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

She was born to Wesley Barr, Sr. and the late Kitty Jean Sicilia Barr in Illinois in 1962. Christine leaves behind to cherish her memories with her three children, daughter, Jennifer Manker (Jorge) of Gastonia, daughter, Christian Manker and son, Thomas Manker, Jr.; father, Wesley Barr, Sr.; five grandchildren; brother, Wesley Barr, Jr. (Sherry), sister, Betty Phu (Hiep), sister, Robin Stubbs (Wyman), brother, Michael Barr and brother, Joe Barr and his daughter; several nieces and nephews; numerous cousins, uncles and aunts.

She enjoyed doing latch hook and eating strawberry milkshakes, loved to color: her favorite color was purple she also loved her computer tablet it was her world. She loved and enjoyed being around her family but most of all her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mom with a beautiful smile.

A funeral service was held at Cherryville Church of God. Pastor Don Capel officiated.
