Christmas lights on Thanksgiving evening

On Thanksgiving night, Forest City Mayor Steve Holland will host a live broadcast from the studio of WAGY Radio 107.5FM for the annual Christmas light ceremony in downtown Forest City. The more than 1 million lights will be turned on at 6 p.m. with Mayor Holland and his special guest conducting the countdown. Speakers will be set up along Main Street and inside the Pavilion on Park Square (POPS). People driving through Forest City are encouraged to tune into WAGY Radio 107.5FM. Folks can also watch the lights come on via the Town's webcam at www.townofforestcity.com.
